Yorkshire Law Society Quiz Night Raises £225
for York Music Hub
Members and guests gathered in York on Tuesday evening for the Yorkshire Law Society Charity Quiz, enjoying a friendly evening of competition while raising funds for the President's Charity, York Music Hub.
The event attracted teams from across the legal community, alongside supporters from local organisations and the University of York. A raffle held during the evening helped raise a fantastic £225 for York Music Hub.
Yorkshire Law Society President Duncan Morter thanked everyone who attended, supported the raffle and contributed to the success of the event. Representatives from York Music Hub, including Joanne Yau and two York Music Hub teams, joined the evening and shared the impact that the fundraising would have. Joanne explained that the £225 raised would be enough to enable one child to access ensemble music lessons for an entire year who might otherwise not have had that opportunity.
The Yorkshire Law Society would like to thank everyone who took part and supported the event.
