The Law Society, the Bar Council of England and Wales and the Bar Council of India signing an agreement last June to cooperate more as India opens up the provision of legal services to foreign lawyers is mentioned in a Times (£) piece.
UK firms in Saudi Arabia
Global Legal Post mentions Law Society’s comments on Saudi Arabia’s law, the kingdom’s Code of Law Practice, that came into effect last year and means foreign law firms can no longer operate there through an association with a local firm and now need a licence granted by the Saudi Ministry of Justice.
