Inheritance disputes

Melinda Giles, a member of our Wills and Equity Committee, spoke to BBC Radio Stoke (from 1:15:26) about what families can do to prevent having to dispute a loved ones’ will. Recent research has found that challenges on the distribution of estate has rise 37% in 2021, compared with 2019.

President hosts lunch in Bournemouth

Law Society President Lubna Shuja attended the annual lunch for the Bournemouth and District Law Society as a guest speaker, reports Yahoo! News.

She said she recognised “the huge contribution that local law societies make in supporting the local community.”
