Judicial Appointments Commission Chair
Law 360 (£) covers the Law Society’s welcoming new Judicial Appointments Commission Chair Helen Pitcher OBE. President Lubna Shuja is quoted saying that the appointment is an “an opportunity to reset the commission and drive forward meaningful progress in judicial diversity.”
SQE scholarship
Legal Futures reports that the College of Legal Practice, a member of the Law Society Diversity Access Scheme, has launched its SQE scholarship and increased access to the solicitor profession amidst the current cost-of-living crisis.
