South Asian Heritage Month
Our vice president Lubna Shuja writes in the Gazette about the importance of celebrating South Asian Heritage Month in the legal sector. Eastern Eye, Asian Times, Garavi Gujarat also pick up the piece.
“In three months, I will become the first Asian, first Muslim and seventh female president of the Law Society. During my term as president, I intend to keep the focus on improving diversity and inclusion in the profession” said Lubna Shuja.
“I very much look forward to celebrating South Asian Heritage Month and hearing about the journeys and contributions of, my South Asian colleagues in the profession.”
Law Society president visit
Northants Life reports on Law Society President I. Stephanie Boyce’s visit to Wilson Brown Solicitors in Northampton.
