Overhaul of legal aid system 

In response to the report from Sir Christopher Bellamy, the ministry of justice has proposed a number of changes to the criminal legal aid system, including offering all children free legal aid and an injection of £135m into the sector.

Cyberflashing 

Stuart Nolan, chair of our criminal law committee, spoke to Times Radio (from 2:07:08) about the proposal to make cyberflashing a crime, as part of the Online Safety Bill. Cyberflashing is the sending of an unwanted sexual image.
