Law Society president I. Stephanie Boyce was quoted in an article in the Telegraph (£) about the relationship between UK lawyers and Russian oligarchs. Meanwhile Anna Bradshaw, a member of our EU committee, was on LBC and Times Radio explaining how sanctions work in relation to the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
Nightingale courts
The Gazette reports on the Ministry of Justice (MoJ) writing off £18m in relation to developing a new courts case management system. Separately, the MoJ has extended the contract on 30 Nightingale courtrooms for another year.
